The conference and international industry exhibition will highlight challenges and opportunities for international engagement, and discuss how industry may support diplomacy, defence and security policy in the region’.
IODS24 will be a 3-day exposition featuring:
- A comprehensive conference program
- Industry exhibition, with B2B and B2G engagement programs
- International delegations and WIP program
- Networking and engagement events
A highlight of the conference will be the IODS24 Innovation Awards. The awards are designed to highlight and reward Australians at the forefront of new technology by giving them a platform to present their products and ideas.
There are 4 categories, each with a $10,000 prize:
- Indian Ocean Defence & Security 2024 Innovation Award
- Indian Ocean Defence & Security 2024 Emerging Technology Award
- Indian Ocean Defence & Security 2024 Young Innovator Award
- Indian Ocean Defence & Security 2024 Collaborative Innovation Award
Submissions to the awards are open and will close on Monday 6 May 2024 at 5.00pm AWST.
