Calling nominations for the WA Volunteer Service Awards

The WA Volunteer Service Awards are organised by the WA State Government to recognise and celebrate the significant efforts of Western Australia’s volunteers. Since 2012, 2,331 Western Australian volunteers have been honoured through the Awards program. 
In 2024, eligibility for these awards has been expanded. Volunteers can now be nominated for the following categories. 

  • 5 - 9 years of voluntary service
  • 10 - 19 years of voluntary service
  • 20 - 29 years of voluntary service
  • 30 - 39 years of voluntary service
  • 40 - 49 years of voluntary service
  • 50 - 59 years of voluntary service
  • Lifetime of voluntary service (60 plus years of volunteering)

Volunteers are encouraged to take a look at the criteria and either self-nominate using the online form or contact their Volunteer Manager to organise a bulk nomination.

Nominations close on the 29 February 2024.

WA Volunteer Service Awards 2024

Nominations are now open for the WA Volunteer Service Awards coordinated by the WA Government. The annual Awards recognise and celebrates the significant efforts of Western Australia’s volunteers.  

In 2024, eligibility for these awards has been expanded to capture the breadth of volunteering contribution across WA. Volunteers can be recognised in seven categories from 5 years of voluntary service and the streamlined online nomination process also allows for self-nomination.
