Appointed as Director General of the Department in December 2021; Karen has more than 30 years of public sector experience spanning labour market and educational research, program and policy evaluation, strategic policy and planning, legislative reform and service delivery.
Karen graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours in Psychology) and completed a Graduate Certificate in Management from Curtin University.
