The Executive Council is the supreme decision making body of government and consists of the Governor (as Chair) and all Cabinet ministers. 

Its main role is to advise the Governor on matters relating to the government of the State of Western Australia. It also gives legal form to Cabinet decisions which have no legal status in their own right. 

The guidelines include the following information:
