PeopleKind Group is a for-purpose company and parent to organisations that make a positive and lasting difference in the community. Services include housing, disability services, allied health, justice, child protection, and reintegration.

PeopleKind Group has a strategic objective to understand and improve its sustainability position across its operations. Employee travel is a clear target for improvement, including personal and fleet vehicles. Providing free EV charging for employees as a benefit, and using existing solar panels to do so, is an easy first step and will hopefully encourage more people to adopt EVs.

The plan is to move some PeopleKind Group fleet vehicles to EVs when price and availability improve and to invest in additional chargers to accommodate the transition.
