WA Prison Drug Strategy 2018-2021

Guidance
The purpose of the Western Australian Prisons Drug Strategy 2018 – 2021 is to provide a high-level blueprint for how the Department of Justice is addressing the challenge of drugs in prisons in Western Australia.
Last updated:

The Department’s objective is to create a drug-free custodial environment. It will do this by detecting, disrupting and denying drugs and other contraband from entering and being trafficked within custodial facilities. Prisoners who use or traffic drugs and visitors and staff who traffic drugs within the prison estate will be held accountable.
