People in unaffected regions of WA who have been in Perth, Peel or Rottnest Island since April 17 must also comply with lockdown and mask wearing requirements.

You should only leave your home/place of accommodation in the unaffected region:

  • to access essential goods or services you cannot obtain in your region
  • to return to your place of residence (this includes travelling from an unaffected area to a person’s home/residence in the affected area)
  • to go to work because you can’t work from home and your place of work is not closed
  • for specific authorised care and compassionate reasons, or to leave for an emergency purpose.

A mask must be worn when leaving your home/place of accommodation unless there is an exception that applies, for example, doing rigorous exercise.
