The Commonwealth Government is inviting applications from States and Territories for projects to be funded under the Disaster Risk Reduction Package. A total of $6.2 million is available nationally over 2022‑23 and 2023‑24. This funding is for nationally significant initiatives that reduce systemic disaster risk in line with the National Disaster Risk Reduction Framework.
