Energy Policy WA is pleased to announce a major milestone in the WA Government’s Energy Transformation Strategy with the gazettal of Wholesale Electricity Market Rules to implement a new framework for Generator Performance Standards in the South West Interconnected System. The new framework will support power system security and reliability as the penetration of intermittent renewable generators and large-scale energy storage projects increases.
