Have your say

The ECCC is a statutory committee that reviews and provides advice to the Economic Regulation Authority on the  Code of Conduct for the Supply of Electricity to Small Use Customers 2018 (the Customer Code).

The Customer Code sets out the standards of conduct that apply to electricity retailers, distributors and marketing agents who supply residential and small business customers covering issues such as billing, payments, payment difficulties and financial hardship, disconnection practices and complaints handling.

The ECCC is inviting comments on its recommendations and questions included in the Draft Recommendations Report and welcomes any other comments on the standards of conduct in the Customer Code.

For a quick take on the issues, see the ECCC’s two-page fact sheet that summarises the key draft recommendations and questions for the community.
