This is the first time the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management Act 2007 (BAM Act) is being reviewed and is seeking feedback on how to manage pests, weeds and diseases that affect the safety and quality of our food.

Your feedback will help ensure Western Australia has modern biosecurity legislation that takes key matters such as climate change and new technologies into account.

Invasive pests, weeds and diseases also affect fisheries, forestry, our land and aquatic ecosystems, our safety and our way of life.
