Strike Force Vulcan officers seeking the public’s assistance for information as they investigate a scrub fire on Abernethy Road in High Wycombe on Thursday, 6 March 2025.
Department of Fire and Emergency Services were advised of the scrub fire about 3am, which is believed to have started closed to the railway line on Dundas Road. The fire spread across the railway line into the rear of a business on Abernethy Road before being extinguished.
Strike Force Vulcan officers are urging anyone with any mobile phone or dash-cam vision of the above area taken between 3am and 4:30am, to upload the vision direct to them via the link: https://wapf.au.evidence.com/axon/community-request/public/vulcan2024-25
Anyone with any information relating to these fires is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.crimestopperswa.com.au. Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
