The Perth Casino Royal Commission’s first phase of public hearings concluded today with the Commission adjourning until late June.
The Commission is required to deliver an interim report by June 30, and to date, has focused on how the regulator, the Gaming and Wagering Commission of Western Australia, has carried out its functions and the statutory framework which oversees the Perth Casino.
The next phase of the Commission’s enquiry will include the licensing of the Perth Casino. It is expected that public hearings will commence in July and conclude by September. Specific dates for those hearings will be provided in due course.
The Commission’s final report is due by November 14.
