Energy Policy WA today published consultation drafts of the Energy Coordination (Customer Contracts) Amendment Regulations 2021 and Electricity Industry (Customer Contracts) Amendment Regulations 2021
The consultation drafts present regulatory updates identified in the Final Recommendations Report: Review of Energy Customer Contract Regulations endorsed by the Minister for Energy in January 2021. These changes aim to provide a streamlined and consistent framework for delivering energy customer protections by removing outdated references in the regulations and overlaps with other instruments.
Energy Policy WA invites comments on the consultation drafts with submissions closing at 5.00pm (AWST) 17 November 2021.
