Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a fatal crash that occurred in Parkerville on Tuesday, 26 November 2024.
About 5pm, a white Hino light truck and a white Hyundai Elantra sedan, collided at the intersection of Great Eastern Highway and Brooking Road in Parkerville.
The 96-year-old male driver of the Hyundai Elantra sustained serious injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to St John of God Hospital Midland where he later died.
The 48-year-old male driver of the Hino truck was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital as a precaution.
Major Crash investigators are urging anyone who saw the crash, or sighted either vehicle travelling in the area prior to the crash, or who has any information relating to this crash, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
