The GMCCC is a statutory committee that reviews and provides advice to the Economic Regulation Authority on the Gas Marketing Code of Conduct 2017 (the Code).

The Code sets out the standards of conduct that apply to gas retailers and marketing agents who supply and market to residential and small business customers, covering issues such as information to be provided to customers before they enter into a contract and other sales practices.

The GMCCC is inviting comments on its recommendations included in the Draft Review Report and welcomes any other comments on standards of conduct in the Code.

For more information on the review of the Code, including the Draft Review Report, visit the Economic Regulation Authority web page: Gas Marketing Code of Conduct Review 2020.
