The Commission has opened an iThink challenge for ideas on how recruitment can be shaped to get the best people into the public sector and deliver outstanding services to Western Australians.
These ideas will help inform a review of employment practices in the public sector.
The focus of the challenge is to help the sector:
- attract high performing people to our agencies
- make the recruitment experience positive and inclusive for all
- increase the diversity of candidates
- reduce the time and resources required to find the right people.
All ideas about how to advertise, assess and select candidates or any other aspects of recruitment are welcome but must meet public sector employment standards set in law.
