On 1 December 2022, the 2021-2022 SEMC Annual Report was tabled in Parliament.

The Annual Report showcases the work of the members of the SEMC, it's subcommittees and reference groups, as well as the District and Local Emergency Management Committees.

Challenges faced throughout 2021-22 included:

  • COVID-19 response
  • Tropical Cyclone Seroja
  • Wooroloo Bushfire
