Minister for Finance, Ben Wyatt, with Minister for Community Services, Simone McGurk, today introduced the updated Delivering Community Services in Partnership Policy boosting the Government’s commitment to the not-for-profit community services sector.
Following an extensive seven month consultation phase, the Policy was updated to include measures that will give community services providers greater certainty and strengthen the partnership between government agencies and the not-for-profit community services sector.
The updates will also improve the sustainability of community services through a focus on planning, stakeholder engagement and co-design process in order to better integrate and deliver services.
