The WA Industry Link portal www.industrylink.wa.gov.au has been revamped and is now live on wa.gov.au.
The WA Industry Link portal helps both suppliers and agencies to understand government initiatives and funding opportunities including:
- Local Capability Fund
- WA Industry Participation Strategy (WAIPS) 2020
- WA Buy Local Policy 2022
- WA Jobs Act 2017.
It links local businesses to government contracts and provides them with all the information and support they need to give them the best chance of securing WA Government procurement opportunities, which are worth around $30 billion per year.
The revamped WA Industry Link portal now includes a hub for businesses and one for WA Government agencies. These hubs feature:
- Information and resources to help WA Government agencies implement WAIPS into their procurement cycles
- Advice for businesses on how to complete their participation plans
- Advisory services and financial support programs such as the Local Capability Fund
- Links to local, state and Australian Government supply opportunities.
