In rising to the challenge of a rapidly changing energy sector, the WA Government has announced improvements to the energy sector governance framework.
Energy Policy WA has released a Consultation Paper outlining the WA Government’s proposed changes. The Consultation Paper includes appendices detailing draft amendments to the Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM) Rules and Gas Services Information (GSI) Rules, as well as drafting instructions for amendments to the WEM Regulations, GSI Regulations, and Rule Change Panel Regulations.
Stakeholder feedback is sought by 11 December 2020.
