Mr Aden Barker is an energy sector professional, with a decade-and-a-half of experience.
Mr Barker has led the delivery of new wholesale electricity market and power system security and reliability arrangements for the South West Interconnected System since October 2018. This work now forms part of the WA Government’s Energy Transformation Strategy.
Prior to this, Mr Barker worked in a variety of executive, management, and policy positions within the previous Public Utilities Office and Office of Energy, with a focus on consumer policy, energy regulation, pricing, and distributed energy resources.
