The Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage administers the Coastal Zone Management Program on behalf of the Western Australian Planning Commission.
This program addresses coastal hazard risks to achieve sustainable development outcomes in accordance with State Planning Policy 2.6 State Coastal Planning Policy (SPP2.6) and provides a basis for broad stewardship and partnerships.
A report on activities is provided annually.
