Arrivals to Western Australia by air

WA is in a safe and sensible controlled border arrangement, based on public health advice. 

From very low risk jurisdictions:

  1. Before travelling to Western Australia go online and complete a mandatory G2G PASS registration and declaration. 
  2. Travel to Western Australia. 
  3. On arrival, all travellers are to complete a health screening. 
  4. Once the screening is completed, scan your G2G PASS to exit the airport. 

From low risk jurisdictions:

  1. Before travelling to Western Australia go online and complete a mandatory G2G PASS registration and declaration. 
  2. Download the voluntary G2G Now app for quarantine checks. 
  3. Travel to Western Australia and wear a mask as directed. 
  4. Complete a health screening. 
  5. Once the screening is completed, scan your G2G PASS. 
  6. Verify that you have suitable premises for self-quarantine. 
  7. If you have suitable premises, enter self-quarantine for 14 days. 
  8. If you do not have suitable premises, you will be directed to enter a government-approved quarantine facility at your own expense for 14 days. 
  9. Whilst in quarantine, be ready to use G2G Now to check-in when prompted by the WA Police Force. 

From medium risk jurisdictions: 

  1. Travellers from medium risk jurisdictions are not permitted to enter unless exempt.
  2. For those permitted entry, they will need to self-quarantine at a suitable premises for 14 days and if a suitable premises is not available, they will be directed to a government approved quarantine facility at their own expense. 
  3. Approved travellers are subject to a COVID-19 test within 48 hours of arrival and on day 11 of quarantine, or at any point when symptoms develop.
  4. Approved travellers must wear a mask if practicable and available from when travellers enter WA until they arrive at suitable self-quarantine premises or government approved quarantine facilities

Travellers who transit via a low or medium risk jurisdiction will be subject to the same entry conditions as that jurisdiction.

Important: Breaching conditions of entry of providing false and / or misleading information can result in fines of up to $50,000 or imprisonment.
