Members considered the following matters:

Cyber security

The creation of a cyber security unit to coordinate a response to security breaches across the sector, that lifted maturity and set standards for the whole of government.

Streamlining Justice Architecture IRRF

Application Members considered and supported a funding application for streamlining the justice portfolio digital architecture.

Revised Digital Services Policy

The revised Digital Services Policy was endorsed by members.

Common-Use Asset Management Platform

The proposal for a business case to develop a common use asset management platform was endorsed.

GovNext-ICT Update

The current implementation status of GovNext-ICT was noted by members.

Whole of Government Digital Key Performance Indicators

A survey was recently conducted across the WA public sector to gain insight into ICT expenditure and sets a baseline for performance. Members noted the report and the ongoing work to develop agency specific results.

Data Classification Policy Pilot

Members noted the need for a data classification policy, and the results of a pilot recently undertaken in Treasury and the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.

Techtober

Members noted the design of Techtober, an annual event to build the capacity and capability of the sector around digital and data reform.
