Resources Industry Worker (Restrictions on Access) Directions (No 2)

Decision
The purpose of these directions is to put in place some measures to address the unique risks posed by COVID-19 from the mobile nature of the workforce on rural and remote mine sites and oil and gas facilities for the purpose of limiting the spread of COVID-19 in Western Australia.

The directions prevent:

  1. a person who is a resources industry worker from entering a rural or remote resources industry site or remote operating centre if they have not been vaccinated against COVID-19; and
  2. a person who is a rig or platform crew member or petroleum vessel worker from entering a rural or remote airport or State Port for the purposes of travelling to or from a rig or platform or a petroleum vessel if they have not been vaccinated against COVID-19
