A State of Emergency is in effect for the whole of Western Australia under the Emergency Management Act 2005 (WA). In relation to the State of Emergency, the State Emergency Coordinator has given the Quarantine (Closing the Border) Directions (the Directions).

Those Directions prohibit entry into Western Australia by any person other than an exempt traveller. The categories of who is an exempt traveller are set out in the Directions. If you are not an exempt traveller, you may commit an offence by entering Western Australia and you will be refused entry and asked to leave.

If you meet the exemption criteria, the quickest and simplest way to apply for an exemption is via the G2G PASS online form. Please submit your application as soon as possible. We aim to process applications within 6 business days.

By applying online, you can track your application status and make changes to your personal details. You will also receive an email with the outcome of your application.

Alternatively, you can apply via email with supporting documentation, using the exemption application form below. These paper-based application forms take longer to process. If you choose to submit an application using the WA Entry Form, please submit your application at least 4 weeks prior to travel.

You should receive an email from noreply@mail.g2gpass.com.au once your application has been received.
