The Department of Justice monitors and coordinates the development of justice-related legislation. It specifically tracks all proposed amendments for legislation that fall within the portfolio responsibilities of the Department.

Access to Western Australian legislation and statutory information is available on the Western Australian Legislation website which is hosted and maintained by the Parliamentary Counsel's Office. The service is free-of-charge and provides access to all current legislation and a range of other statutory information.
