We encourage you to take the time to read the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing discussion paper in full and share your feedback. There are a number of questions throughout the discussion paper for consideration. You may like to use these to structure your feedback but it is not essential.
There are a number of ways to give your feedback. You can make a formal submission or just provide comment through the buttons below. You can also email or mail your formal submission to:
Mail: Public Sector Reform Unit, Department of the Premier and Cabinet, Locked Bag 3001, West Perth WA 6872
All feedback must be received by Friday 1 November 2019. Late submissions will not be considered. Please read about how your feedback will be used before making a submission.
Information sessions and consultations with key stakeholders and sectors of interest will be held on the proposed legislative model and implementation arrangements.
Your feedback will help us understand your thoughts on privacy protection and information sharing within the public sector and with authorised third parties. Submissions will be treated as public documents, unless explicitly requested otherwise.
If you do not consent to your submission being treated as a public document, you should mark it as confidential, or specifically identify the confidential information, and include an explanation.
Please note, even if your submission is treated as confidential by the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC), it may still be disclosed in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 1992 (WA), or any other applicable written law.
The DPC reserves the right to delete any content that could be regarded as racially vilifying, derogatory or defamatory to an individual or an organisation.
A summary of feedback will be released publicly after the consultation period has closed.
