Review of the Public Sector Commission

An independent review into the capability, functions and structure of the Public Sector Commission

Commencing in April 2018, the independent Review of the Public Sector Commission (PSC) considered the capability, functions and structure of the PSC to ensure it had the ability to meet the State Government’s reform objectives and future challenges.

Conducted by Carmel McGregor PSM, the review complemented the Service Priority Review and Special Inquiry into Government Programs and Projects in supporting the State Government’s commitment to building an efficient, effective and innovative public sector that delivers better services and outcomes for Western Australians.

The Final Report (PDF) was tabled in Parliament in October 2018.

The Final Report is informing the PSC’s strategic planning moving forward.
