National Road Safety Week 2022

National Road Safety Week (NRSW) is an annual initiative from the Safer Australian Roads and Highways (SARAH) Group, partnering road safety organisations and government, to highlight the impact of road trauma and ways to reduce it.

What is National Road Safety Week?

National Road Safety Week (NRSW) is an initiative from the Safer Australian Roads and Highways (SARAH) Group, partnering road safety organisations and government to highlight the impact of road trauma and ways to reduce it. Every year, more than 1200 people are killed and 44,000 seriously injured on Australian roads. National Road Safety Week is a time for us to remember those people who have experienced trauma on our roads. We urge communities to come together and make their pledge to ensure the roads are safe for everyone. To drive so others survive.

To make your own pledge to drive safely, visit our Take the Pledge page.
