We are proud to announce the 12 outstanding Western Australian (WA) scientists, students, educators and engagement initiatives recognised as winners of the Premier's Science Awards 2026.
Now in its 25th year, the awards program recognises exceptional achievements in scientific research, study, education and engagement from across the State.
This year's winners reflect the talent, innovation and leadership driving excellence across science and research in WA.
Their achievements are helping to advance knowledge, deliver real-world impact and inspire future generations to pursue studies and careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
We are also delighted to announce Emeritus Professor David Groves and Dr Mark Harvey as the 2026 inductees to the WA Science Hall of Fame, recognising their outstanding and enduring contributions to science.
Administered by the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification, the Awards demonstrate the WA Government's commitment to raising the profile of STEM across the State and celebrating the people and initiatives shaping WA’s future.
