Fifteen Year 11 students from Western Australian schools will join their peers from around Australia at the National Schools Constitutional Convention in Canberra from 17 to 19 March 2020.
Students who attended the WA Schools Constitutional Convention held in September this year had a chance to apply for next year’s national convention.
The state event brought together 200 like-minded students from 23 schools to discuss human rights issues that affect Australia. The national event will provide further learning and discussion opportunities amongst young Australians about the Australian Constitution and system of Government.
