The Public Sector Commission Annual Report 2023-24 captures our key achievements, initiatives and activities over the last financial year.
Tabled in the WA Parliament today, this year’s annual report is framed around our new strategic plan with a particular focus on how and where we can add the most value to the sector.
It also profiles 7 accomplished women who stepped up into level 9 positions as part of the Women in Executive Leadership Development Experience Initiative for the year.
Alongside this the 2023-24 State of the WA Government Sector Workforce report was also tabled in Parliament.
The report is the Public Sector Commissioner’s independent assessment of the performance, notable achievements, challenges and priorities of the WA government sector workforce.
This year’s report builds on previous years’ information, providing improved data and analysis in a range of areas, from workforce demographics and diversity to integrity and leadership.
Both reports speak to the Commission’s efforts to develop a high performing, future fit public service for the people of Western Australia.
Also tabled today was the Director of Equal Opportunity in Public Employment (DEOPE) Annual Report 2023-24 which focuses on progress toward equal opportunity, diversity, and inclusion across the government sector.
