The results of the 2023 WA Public Sector Census have been released today in Sector Insights.
More than 47,000 public sector staff (around 30% of the workforce) took the opportunity to share information about themselves and their work experiences to help improve our sector now and into the future.
Staff who responded to the census provided important information on demographics, job type and tenure, diversity and inclusion, education and their experiences in the workplace.
The information gained through the census is being used by the sector and individual agencies to build on strengths, improve operations and better support staff.
