Joondalup Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance for information as they investigate a car fire in Merriwa that occurred during the early hours of Friday 26 September 2025.
About 3.20am this morning, 26 September 2025 – Police and Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) were called to a car fire on Olympus Loop in Merriwa.
A Ford Territory station wagon was destroyed by the fire, but DFES officers were able to stop the fire spreading.
The fire is believed to have been deliberately lit and police urge anyone or saw any suspicious persons, particularly any riding an electric scooter, or has any information relating to this incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
