Strike Force Vulcan officers have charged a 32-year-old man in relation to a bushfire that occurred in Success on Monday, 29 December 2025.
The man had established a campsite in bushland located in the Beeliar Regional Park, near Branch Circuit in Success.
It will be alleged about 11.15pm on 29 December 2025, the accused lit a campfire which resulted in a bushfire that burnt two hectares of vegetation and bushland.
The 32-year-old man from Success has been charged with:
• One count of Breach of Duty
He is due to appear before the Fremantle Magistrates Court on 16 January 2026.
