Be Brave, make change National Reconciliation Week 2022

National Reconciliation Week (NRW), running from 27 May to 3 June, is a time for all Australians to learn more about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2022 is ‘Be Brave, Make change’.

In 2022, the Department is supporting Reconciliation WA in a range of events and digitised activities, giving more West Australians the opportunity to engage with the program from wherever they are in WA, in a COVID safe way.

The 2022 NRW event program includes the Reconciliation WA NRW Virtual Breakfast, the Boola Bardip NRW hub and the NRW Walk for Reconciliation.

The NRW virtual breakfast is a unique invitation to all Western Australians, and will be streamed live from Boola Bardip (WA Museum). The breakfast program will be available for viewers to join in where most appropriate for time and content, and will be recorded and available on the Reconciliation WA YouTube Channel. This year, Reconciliation WA are calling for one million West Australians to join the virtual breakfast.

With plenty of events lined up across the week, register for an event near you or learn more about NRW 2022 by visiting the Reconciliation WA website.
