Bench seat gifted to community now installed

Four bench seats with art work by Linzi Carter were given to communities in the 2025 Tidy Towns Sustainable Communities program. Regional communities can win one of three benches in the 2026 awards. Tom Price was gifted a seat with artwork by Helen Ansell at the launch of the awards in June.

Furnissdale bench
Gifted to the Furnissdale community through the Tidy Towns Sustainable Communities Awards program.

The last of four bench seats given during the 2025 Tidy Towns Sustainable Communities Awards program has been installed in Furnissdale in the Shire of Murray. Located a short distance from the river, it enables walkers to view the plentious birds and dolphins in the Serpentine River.
