Detectives from Joondalup Rapid High Harm Offender Response have charged an 18-year-old man in relation to several burglaries which occurred in Clarkson between Monday, 29 September and Tuesday, 30 September 2025.
It will be alleged; between 11.15pm and 2.50am, the man gained access to the backyards of nine residences, including entering two garages and a dwelling at three of the addresses.
It will be further alleged he stole items from several of the residences.
About 4.30am, police located the man at Currambine Train Station. It will be alleged he attempted to resist arrest before being apprehended by the officers.
It will be further alleged he was found in possession of a hatchet and a meat cleaver, as well as some of the stolen items.
An 18-year-old man from Drummond Cove has been charged with:
• 2 x Aggravated Home Burglary with Intent
• 1 x Home Burglary and Commit
• 1 x Attempted Home Burglary with Intent
• 4 x Stealing
• 3 x Trespass
• 1 x Obstruct Police Officer
• 1 x Carried or Possessed an Edged Weapon
He is due to appear before Joondalup Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 1 October 2025.
