Calling industry personnel to contribute to MDCP framework

Industry reference group members needed for Mining Development and Closure Proposals and Approvals Statements framework.

The Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS) is seeking expressions of interest from industry representatives to participate in an industry reference group for the development of the Mining Development and Closure Proposals and Approvals Statements (MDCP) framework.

Chaired by a Resource and Environmental Compliance Division representative, the group will provide input into the development of the framework and the guidance material to assist applicants in developing a MDCP submission for assessment.

Representatives must be available to start in November and meet on a monthly basis.

If you are interested in participating, please contact REC.Consultation@dmirs.wa.gov.au with a brief outline of your skills and experience, and what contribution you can make to the process of drafting the framework and guidance materials.

Expressions of interest will close 5:00pm Friday 13 October. Nominees will be notified of the outcome the following week.
