On Sunday 26 October from 10am until 2pm, the Joondalup Police Academy will open its doors to everyone looking to start their career with the largest single police jurisdiction in the world.
This free event is open to all members of the public and is a great opportunity to highlight all that the WA Police Force has to offer. Visitors will meet police officers and staff and can ask questions about the application process, training and future career options with the WA Police Force.
The Police Recruitment team will be hosting information sessions and be available to answer all questions regarding the application and recruitment process. The team will also have the capability to certify documentation to assist with the application process.
There are vast career opportunities within the agency that are not just limited to police officer roles. The Personnel Services team will also be in attendance to discuss police staff opportunities, including current vacancies and existing positions.
Careers Day will include displays from a range of business and specialised units. All policing unit displays will focus on sharing information about what it is like to work in their area of policing, including a scope of the job role and duties to be performed, training requirements, locations, special uniforms, accoutrements and equipment.
