CHARGES - LEEDERVILLE SERIOUS ASSAULT

Wembley Police have charged a woman following an investigation into a serious assault that occurred in Leederville on Tuesday, 15 July 2025.

It will be alleged; about 11.30pm, a staff member of a licensed premises on Oxford Street was assaulted by the woman after requesting her to leave. It is further alleged, the woman pinned the staff member against the bar table and bit her on the upper body before fleeing the scene.

As a result of information provided by the public, a 42-year-old Bassendean woman has been charged with one count of 'Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm'.

She is next due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on 11 September 2025.
