Pilbara Networks are expected to evolve significantly over the next two decades, with increased common use transmission lines and higher levels of renewable energy.
Energy Policy WA (EPWA) has conducted a comprehensive review of existing regulatory instruments in collaboration with stakeholders.
In February 2025, EPWA released consultation papers outlining proposals to evolve the access regime and the PNR.
EPWA has now published draft implementation plans for the evolution of the regulatory regime. The draft implementation plans have been developed with consideration of stakeholder submissions provided during earlier public consultation. The draft implementation plans suggest timing, sequencing and consideration of triggers for proposed reforms.
