The Coordinator of Energy received a submission from the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) on 15 December 2022, requesting that the Coordinator triggers a Non-Co-optimised Essential System Services (NCESS) procurement process for Reliability Services for the 2024-25 Capacity Year.
The Coordinator has published a determination in accordance with section 3.11A of the Wholesale Electricity Market Rules, outlining the reasons for triggering the NCESS procurement process in this instance.
