Anticipation is building for Australia’s premier medtech conference, AusMedtech, which takes place in Perth, Western Australia, from19-21 May 2026.
AusMedtech will bring together industry leaders, innovators, researchers and investors to shape the future of healthcare. The two-and-a-half-day conference is expected to attract hundreds of national and international delegates from across the medtech sector.
The Department of Energy and Economic Diversification is a Host State Partner of AusMedtech, and will be hosting a WA Government booth at the conference.
Hosting AusMedtech 2026 in Perth will place a national spotlight on Western Australia’s fast-growing biomedical industry, showcasing the State’s strengths in research, manufacturing and commercialisation. The program will include site tours to local biomedical and health facilities, providing delegates with first-hand exposure to WA’s innovation ecosystem.
Securing AusMedtech 2026 is aligned to Western Australia’s Health and Medical Life Sciences Industry Strategy, with the sector a key pillar under the State Government’s Diversify WA strategy.
With AusMedtech soon arriving in Perth, the countdown is well and truly underway for Western Australia to welcome the nation’s medtech community.
