All Department of Training and Workforce Development offices will be closed from Thursday 25 December 2025 to Thursday 1 January 2026. Our teams will be available again from Friday 2 January 2026. This includes:
- Apprenticeship Office
- Migration Services
- Muresk Institute
- TAFE International (TIWA)
- The Jobs and Skills WA Resource Unit
- The Office of the State Training Board
- Clean Energy Skills National Centre of Excellence
- The Training Accreditation Council (TAC)
- The Training Markets branch
Please note the Djookanup group floor reception area in Osborne Park, and the Prospect Place building in West Perth will also be closed during this time.

Apprenticeship Office customers
The 13 19 54 Apprenticeship Office helpline will not be operational during this time. Please email your enquiries to ApprenticeshipOffice@dtwd.wa.gov.au. The team will respond to your enquiry when the office opens in the new year.
- Training contracts can continue to be lodged during the closure and will be assessed from when the office reopens on Friday 2 January 2026.
- Training contract changes can still be submitted via the Western Australian Apprenticeship Management System (WAAMS) online client portal during the closure period.
- Emails or other training contract related requests received during the closure will be actioned from 2 Janay 2026.
Jobs and Skills Centres
The metropolitan and regional Jobs and Skills Centres will also be closing over the holiday period. Please check the Jobs and Skills website for details of business hours over the holiday period for each Jobs and Skills Centre.
WA TAFE colleges
Each of the WA TAFE colleges will be closing over the holiday period. Please check the relevant TAFE website for more information.
