The Department of Training and Workforce Development has been officially recognised as an Inclusive Employer for 2025–2026 by Diversity Council Australia (DCA) – a national acknowledgment of the Department’s strong and sustained commitment to workplace inclusion.

This recognition follows the Department’s participation in the DCA Inclusive Employer Index, an in-depth workplace survey that measures employee diversity and inclusion experiences and highlights the Department’s ongoing efforts to build a workplace culture where every employee feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Through a range of initiatives and events, the Department actively celebrates the stories of its staff and champions diversity and inclusion across all levels of the organisation.

The Department continues to attract and support people from a wide range of experiences, perspectives, and identities, reinforcing its commitment to reflecting the diversity of the Western Australian community it serves.
