News story
DMPE is inviting customers to tell us about their recent experience with the department.
Last updated:

In June 2026, the Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration (DMPE) is inviting our customers to tell us about their recent experience through an online customer survey conducted by Ipsos, an independent research agency.

In line with our Customer Service Charter, DMPE is committed to striving for excellence and looking for better ways of doing things. This is your chance to tell us what we did well and what we can do better. Your feedback will help us to improve our services to the Western Australian community.

If you are invited to participate in the survey, the survey link will be emailed to you and will take less than 10 minutes to complete. It will be available for three weeks from the time you receive it.

The survey aligns with Australian Privacy principles, so your feedback will remain anonymous and strictly confidential. In accordance with the DMPE Privacy Policy, your feedback will only be used for the purpose of improving our service to you.

If you wish to ‘opt out’ of this survey and future surveys, please follow the opt out link in the survey invitation, and if you would like further information regarding the survey, please email spprr@dmpe.wa.gov.au.
