The update has added more than 102,000 new records, totalling $14.8 million. The full Register now contains around one million records, totalling approximately $152 million.

Examples of lost or forgotten money on the Register include: rental bond refunds, dividend payments and vehicle licence refunds.

You can search the Register and make a claim online.

There is no time limit on claims, and anyone who can clearly establish a rightful claim will be paid their money regardless of how long it has been held.
